On Performing for the Shah Alam’s Dato Bandar

Published by Imran Ajmain under Places, people, shows

I performed for the Mayor of Shah Alam, who asked why didn’t I get a place to stay at Shah Alam. For Singaporeans reading this, Shah Alam, is far away from KL. As a matter of a fact, when you say you’re travelling to KL, most of you are only going to Bukit Bintang, KLCC area and that’s really KL. But once you go to Damansara, Cheras, and especially to Shah Alam, it’s got nothing to do with KL anymore.

Anyway, I told him, I’m saving up to become his neighbour. His wife took a picture of me using her iPhone and said “I want to make my grandchildren jealous. Here’s the proof that I met you”. And I was staring at her phone. More pictures HERE.

On Mersing And Performing With Wet Shoes On

Published by Imran Ajmain under Travel, shows

Media Hiburan did the Family Day Carnival for the soldiers at the Mersing Military Camp (in Johor), and we spent the whole day driving there just to find out that the entire field has been flooded. Nonetheless, I performed with wet shoes on. I appeared with Bob, Farawahida, Nubhan, Nurul and more. Click HERE for more pictures.

On Performing for 4PM-ITE Bestari Awards

Published by Imran Ajmain under shows

I performed infront of an interactive and cheerful crowd at ITE Dover recently, and also met my “Godfather”. See who he is in the pictures at my Facebook Fanpage. The boys kept cheering (or otherwise for that matter) during the song that I got distracted and missed a bulk of the lyrics because I was laughing!

Had the wonderful privilege of being an opening act (or more of a halftime act) for Dato Sharifah Aini’s Concert in Singapore and I was accompanied by Wawan, Sarah, Kunjung and Chirul. I sang “Sabar Menanti” and I thought it went OK.

Nurul and I from Metadome had the brilliant honour to open and close (respectively) the Glam Magazine’s Glam Odyssey Annual Fashion Extravaganza at The Gardens, Midvalley. I couldn’t fit into most of the clothes. Bah!!! But thanks to Natalie from Armani Xchange, I found my fit. I took pics with everybody, but here are the safe ones! Hee.

On Performing at UITM Lendu / Alor Gajah

Published by Imran Ajmain under Travel, shows

Flop Poppy, Ana Raffali and I had the honour of closing UITM Lendu’s Alor Gajah Town festival in Malacca. Faliq and I had the privilege (or horror) to go sightseeing to the Malacca city-centre. But we got lost, and when we arrived, we had no time, and then we couldn’t find parking. Instead of assam pedas, we had fish & chips instead. Next time Melaka.

Thanks to Shirin and the students of UITM Lendu for making this possible.
