On Alibi’s Cosmic Concert at Wisma Bentley

My label, Alibi Music, held a concert to introduce the new acts and our new songs. I’m pictured here with Marsha Londoh. You can see more pictures at Alibi’s Facebook Page or my own Facebook Fanpage where I put some of the pictures from my camera.

On URTV’s Anniversary Gathering at Bangi

Can you believe it? The magazine URTV is 40 years old. I’m sure whether we like the magazine or not, we’ve seen stacks of them growing up. And no, this is not the magazine with shots taken in swimming pools. Celebrated Amanda Imani’s birthday at the same premise. More than 18 cakes, and I loved the one from Warner, as recommended by Lisa Surihani, no less. Sweets for my sweets. More pictures HERE.

On Performing for Viva Muzik Singapura

I got to sing “Radio” with Kunjung and also Syafiq from The Sallys. The show will air on Singapore’s Suria Channel 1st March as part of the ‘Viva Muzik Singapura’ series. You can view more pictures HERE and feel free to tag. I will be shooting ‘PopAgenda’ on the 6th February in Singapore too. Don’t forget to catch this one on the 1st of March 2010!
Dhoby Ghaut Green is an excellent performance location. Did you know that a tranny got escorted out by the police for causing a ruckus??? She was standing on her seat and trying to get as much attention as she can from the artistes on stage, but of course, she irritated the hell out of the audience and got the attention of the producers too. Drama!

On Performing for Princesses

When the host Zoey asked the audience to guess who the next singer is going to be here, and that the clue was “dari Singapura“, everybody excitedly screamed for “Aliff Aziz”! So imagine their disappointment when I came out. Haha. I made up for it by singing “Radio”, and got everybody to dance along. It was a themed party so all the girls came as princesses, and some mothers too. More pictures HERE.
The last time I attended their event, I was officially a giant.

On Cat’s Raya Open House Yang Happening Gila
The night before Cat and his crew left for Singapore, for their Esplanade run of ‘Impak Maksima’, he had a belated Raya open house at his place in Bangi. There was a massive buffet, a make-on-the-spot honey chicken barbeque guy outside and of all things, an ice cream truck! So cool. I didn’t even get to do the Kejutan Raya thingy with my folks back home, maybe next time.

On Bintang Kecil’s Raya Open House
It looks like graduation and I’m the teacher. Check out my Facebook Fanpage’s gallery for more pics by clicking the image above, and check out for Elfira, the host, who looks like a young Umie Aida. Amazing.

On The Gathering with Two-P Chatterz
I imagined IRC chatting was long dead, but then again, they’re using mobile phones to do it now. Some of them even hooked up, got married and brought their kids. I was invited by Two-P Technology to grace a gathering with their biggest chat users. Quite exciting to learn about such communities, and I thought Twitter was everything.

On SuriaFM’s Open House & The Things We Did Before/After It
That’s me, Ika, Afdal and Faliq. Was gonna hijack the SuriaFM van, but they’d probably search me up on the Internet! Haha!

On Buka Puasa Tesco with Fazli Zainal
Tesco, the hypermart, had a small iftar for their Ampang branch and they invited Fazli Zainal and I to attend. The kids were too young to know who we are or what we do, but they were really friendly anyway. I felt a bit sad, all over again, after the 4th event with orphans. Felt that parents who give up their kids, for whatever reason, to such homes should see what it’s like first. Bless the kids, some sickly, some lost their parents, some never knew their parents.
Anyway, I heard that “there’s no such thing as illegitimate children, there’s only illegitimate parents”.
Thanks to Farid, and Tesco.
