On Hollywood: Day 2
I had to sleep in, because I felt so lethargic. They told me its jetlag but I’ve never had it before, so I simply felt like I didn’t sleep the night before. That’s all. I had tuna sandwich twice today, and alot of popcorn (they don’t have sweet or salted, its just buttered). I watched ‘My Sister’s Keeper’ at the Pacific Theatres, at Glendale, across from where I stay. I bought tickets for ‘Bruno’ thinking it was at noon, and when I went there, the ticket dude said its for midnight and that I could get a refund at the Customer Services Counter. There is a special counter separate from the ticketing counter to accomodate patrons’ enquiries, exchanges and such. I switched the ticket, and she gave me half my money back saying it might have been their mistake. So cool.
H&M is having a sale, and I thought of Roze. Barnes&Noble had 3 storeys, and I thought of Zee. Kate Spade and I thought of Nadrah. The CheeseCake Factory reminded me of Salim, and walking into this home appliances store made me tear a bit because my mother would just love it. I haven’t found the mosque yet though Google Maps showed that it was pretty near. The magazine section at the book store, just drove me crazy… I feel guilty being here without my friends. So in my mourning, I decided to just watch NBC at the hotel and miss John Legend at Hard Rock.
