Imran on TV3’s Muzik Muzik 27.12.2007
Above, Imran is pictured with popular pop-rock band, Hujan, during the taping of Muzik Muzik today at Sri Pentas Dua, Shah Alam. Ignore the backdrop! The final Muzik Muzik episode for 2007 was recorded over the Christmas Holidays and it will be telecasted on TV3 on the 27th December 2007. Watch Imran singing ‘Malu’ during the Opening of the show, and a medley of Ramlah Ram’s hit ‘Ketentuan’ and ‘Seribu Tahun’. Don’t forget to catch it!

On Postponing ‘Dengan Secara Akustik’
Due to the unforeseen schedule that KL side has dropped on me, I cannot be back in time for Dengan Secara Akustik on the 29th, to be back the same night for rehearsal. Although I’m utterly disappointed about this, I think what’s best is to push it a date where I can focus on being there and not worrying whether I’ll make it back in KL in time! Sorry folks.

On ‘Seribu Tahun’ at No.1 on 2 Radio Stations in Malaysia
Although the song debut in Singapore more than a year ago, due to some marketing miracle, ‘Seribu Tahun’ is now at the top of two charts in Malaysia. Radio Era, touted No.1 Radio in Malaysia, and Hot FM, has ‘Seribu Tahun’ at the top of their weekly charts.
It’s Week 2 for Hot FM, and Week 1 for Era. Radio charts fluctuate according to the number of requests for the song from the listeners. People ask me if I get money from it being No.1. They’ve been asked me this as early as ‘Sudah tu Sudah’ hitting No.1 at Ria. The answer is No, but it clocks Royalty for all the songwriters/composers involved. In a fool-proof system, all radio stations have to submit their playlists to the intellectual property advocates in their country, and these lists will convert into currency for published work. I learnt all of this from Altimet and Didicazli!
I found the video above by typing ‘Seribu Tahun’ in Youtube. I found loads of stuff. I’m excited like hell. Does this mean I qualify for Anugerah Era? Pls comment on the guy and give him some encouraging comments, let’s make his day because he made mine!!!

Alright, so I allowed each and every one of you to ask me something. I have recorded the video for it on my SonyEricsson. My answers are unrehearsed and I recorded it myself. Heh. I think January’s session should be done differently. Maybe 1 of ya’ll can interview me in person.
