I was given a overdue though very much well appreciated birthday surprise at Nadra’s house that day. I came on the pretext of helping her paint her house but it was too late. I was very hungry and she kept making me wait for Shikin. Shikin wouldn’t wait for me ok, I thought. They arrived close to 10, with briyani and dalcha, and Force Vomit folks, and even people from KL. Hey! Apa ni! There was even the traditional cake but it was Sara Lee, and I agree with Sue; this was probably the nicest birthday cake we ever had. Thank you everybody. No glitzy club to do this year’s party. Maybe next year when I turn 25.
